Dear Everyone,
I have met with David Sargsyan, head of administration in Government today at 11:07 (was late a bit).
It was very nice meeting with quite interesting context. At first I have got at lest 5 questions about our association, then a bit more problems in government and absence of project managers. Then we have got to the point where I have presented our possibilities and developments. For instance I have showed Armenian National Standards Translated by us already and Distance Learning Network (www.e-courses.am) with new training methodology.
But eventually we came to the point were I clearly understand that there is not any strategy for creation of any type project management structure inside the Governmental bodies. I told the idea that there might be Project Management Office (PMO) coordinating all project in sense of portfolio management but got the answer back that there is not Project Managers, so why we need PMO?
After I have proposed to do training for anyone in Government as right now we have some funding from CAPS to cover expenses and do deliver it for free. But to my surprise, I haven’t got any reaction to that offer, even though I have documented this in my official letter to Prime Minister (which I have got with me).
David told me that he will think about training and try to come back to us in two days. (Obviously I felt like I was on job interview, even though I was representing at least 50 professional people and was there as organization)
Don’t really know what I have do wrong but my filling was like David Sargsyan didn’t really know what to say even though they initiated the meeting.

Anyway, as the summary I have prepared very good letter to Prime Minister with very exact offer for collaboration and free training as the start for relations development.

Hope that my vision on this was not really wrong.

Thanks for reading and all comments before.
Best Regards
Albert Poghosyan
